BIRDS AND THE BACK POARCH
Setting on my back porch, which is screened and covered with Virginia Creeper vines, I do my thinking and talk with my dog Brodie. As we live in the woods, it is like a living nature show. I have traveled all over the U.S. and to a few other countries birding. Just this morning, while setting and thinking I spotted an Eastern Blue Bird, Cardinal, Crow, Indago Bunting, Blue Jay, several Ruby-Throated Humingbirds, House Wren, Brown Thrasher, Brewer's Blackbird, House Sparrow, American Kestrel and about six little brown beggars that I could not identify without the field glasses. Birding from the back porch is productive!
